We support individuals to maximise their independence as much as possible within their own homes.

Proactive Life Midlands has access to 36 self-contained flats that service users rent.  

Service users’ flats are within a complex of three blocks of flats on a main road in a residential area in Hockley.

The staff team that provides care and support to the service users, operates from an office base within the complex which provides a 24-hour presence of professional support.

There are over 49 adult learning centres and colleges In Birmingham, the closest to our apartments is the South & City college just a few hundred metres away. The 5 star rated college offers a range of courses.

Getting around Birmingham and the region is easy thanks to the fantastic network of public transport, including buses, trams and trains. Despite being such a well connected city, walking or cycling around Birmingham is often just as popular, as there's plenty of things to see and enjoy along the way.

You are able to travel to the city centre on either the number 16 or 74 bus, these leave every 15 minutes and connect to the central rail hub, New Street and the main shopping centre in only 20 minutes. From here Birmingham is accessible country wide via the extensive rail links.

Our apartments are only 10 minutes from the A38,  and the M6, the main motorway that links to all areas of the UK.
